“Five Rooms from Another Space,” is the main concept for MR’s 3rd project.
“異空”, are in Chinese characters and they mean “another space” also the pronunciation of the characters is the same as 2,0 in Korean. “異空” put together with 05 will pronounce 2.0.0.5 in the Korean language. With this explanation in mind, MR intends to create an opportunity, more or less a space, another space(“異空”) other than the reality for designers to express freely. These spaces will be divided into 5 rooms which designers can fill with their works. These 5 rooms will represent the designers’ free space for more creativity and an opportunity for designers to meet other designers.

It flies through the sky leaving a rainbow as a trace.
It is a fantasy that everyone expects, but killed in the morning.

That is “hope”

Everyone has hope therefore we dream.
A dream can be anything from clouds in the sky to the vision of the future.
A future that can be changed due to the present.
People who can change the future, who shape the future can see the 5 rooms where the story of change dwells.
Where people can meet the story of change, hope.

다른 공간에서 만난 다섯 개의 이야기’ 라는 컨셉의 이번 프로젝트는 디자이너들이 2,0,0,5 라는 숫자를 이용해 자신의 상상 속 이야기를 만들어 내는 art work project 이다.

프로젝트 사이트 안에서는 다섯 개의 방을 상징하는 각각의 칼라를 선택하게 되며, 프로젝트의 컨셉과 디자이너의 작품, 프로젝트 참가 디자이너들의 메이킹 필름 등을 볼 수 있게 된다. 또한 그래픽 디자이너인 Heath Taskis 의 작품도 함께 전시가 되고 있다.
이번 전시에서는 그 동안 볼 수 없었던 디자이너들의 작품 제작 후기와 작품에 대한 개인적인 이야기들을 담고 있어 기존의 전시에 비해 좀더 가깝게 디자이너와 작품의 관계를 엿볼 수 있는 기회가 될 것이다.

Five Rooms from another Space

다른 공간 속에서 자신의 꿈을 위해 움직이는 그들은 남들과 다른 모습을 꿈꾸며 평범함을 거부한다. 자신을 표현 할 수 있는 새로운 공간과 새로운 경험에 목말라 하고 있다. 좀더 넓은 세상을 만나고 다른 사람들에게 자신의 이야기를 들려주고 싶어한다.

뮤추얼리스폰스는 세 번째 프로젝트를 통해, 스스로 움직이는 디자이너들을 위한 세상을 열어주고자 한다. 그들은 자신의 머릿속에서 태어난 상상들을 현실로 만들어 가며 그곳에서 함께 미래를 만들어 갈 것이다.

미래는 곧 희망이며 꿈을 위해 움직이는 디자이너의 또 다른 공간이다.
