New to FITC events?
FITC has held 20 events over the last 9 years, through 10 cities and five countries, and over 15,000 attendees. From Flash to motion design, to design and creative inspiration, to other technologies like Flex, Air and processing, FITC events stand as unique and exciting events that educate, challenge, and inspire. We began as a Flash Festival, and kept Flash at the core, however we have also continued to add more and more diverse presentations over the years, ever expanding the programming of our events.

What's it all about anyway? Why should I go?
It starts with the presentations. Three solidly packed days of presentations, both technical and creative. Presenters from around the world have been hand-picked for their skill and talent, and all are eager to share and meet you. Most times, you will have five different presentations to choose from. It's also about the networking. Being able to meet and talk to people who share your passion for this industry. Meet them at the presentations, in the exhibitor hall, or at one of the evening parties. Did we mention the parties? We don't mean to toot our own horn, but FITC parties are legendary. Not that you should come just for the parties, but you could, if you really wanted to. We wouldn't tell anyone.

Who goes to an FITC event?
Flash Designers, Flash Developers, Motion Graphic Artists, Digital Artists and anyone in or having an interest in Flash and digital media. From our technical presentations for the beginner, the intermediate, and the super advanced, to the inspirational creative sessions, there is always something to choose from.

FITC Background
FITC Toronto was launched in 2002 as a way to build and grow a strong community within the Canadian Interactive industry. Held at the Design Exchange in downtown Toronto, this inaugural event drew attendees from across Canada and the USA, and was a SOLD OUT success.

Considered the flagship event of all FITC events, FITC Toronto has grown into an international celebration of the world's top interactive and new media talent. The last FITC Toronto, held at the Hilton Hotel in April 2010, was attended by over 1,200 designers and developers, representing over 27 different countries.

In addition to Toronto, FITC has presented events in Amsterdam, Chicago, Hollywood, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, Seoul and Winnipeg. FITC produced events continue to grow in attendance and reputation, making FITC one of the top companies producing events for the design and technology community.
